i can't believe ANOTHER month has gone by!
pretty soon avery will be one and a half!
yikes!

i made sure to keep better track of things that were changing with our Midge.
avery now has 8 teeth!
four on bottom & four on top!
we think her molars are making their way in & we've heard these are the worst.
ave can now show us how old she is.
when we ask her how old, she points "1" with her pointer finger!
we are just about to switch her to a size four diaper!
she has just barely hit 22 pounds.
ave's appetite is getting bigger and better.
she no longer is as stubborn with food.
she still despises pb&j's.
she LOVES to feed herself with her own spoon and fork and is getting so much better with them!
she loves to share cereal and milk with her mom and aunt smash.
(honey nut cheerio's are her favorite!)
she mostly loves all fruit. (except kiwi's.)
she LOVES corn on the cob with lot's of butter and salt!
she likes to chew on steamed green beans.
she LOVES edamame.
she loves sweet watermelon and quesadillas.
she loves sweets too!
her favorite snack is the gerber fruit sticks. she goes WILD for them!
Doing what she does best....HANDSTANDS!!!
midge loves giving hugs and kisses.
her hugs are my favorite.
she gives you a little pat on the back while hugging!
BUT...when she doesn't want to give you either, she gives a mean glare!
it's HILARIOUS!
avery is now sleeping about 12-13 hours a night.
this means we usually get an hour nap. tops.
she has been sick this last week and slept 14 hours one night!
she didn't wake up unitl 10 am.
poor midge!
her new words this month is "OW" and "WOW".
like i mentioned, she's been sick. two days ago she kept
looking at me, holding her woobie, saying ow mommy.
broke my heart.
i got what she had and OW is right.
since being sick, she only wants to cuddle on mommy and daddys bed.
she actually watched 40 minutes of cars, all the while clutching to her mommy.
i hope she gets feeling better soon!
since it has been so hot here, we have been trying to entertain ourselves with the activities.
if the sun is set just right, we go on our porch and draw with chalk.
we've been trying to color with markers too.
avery likes to entertain us in her own way too.
a couple of weeks ago she hid my car keys while we were packing and moving our harvard house.
when we were ready to leave, we could not find the keys ANYWHERE!
we asked avery where she put them, and she held up her hands and jibbered.
(kind of telling us "i don't know.)
it was so cute..but not funny at the same time.
after almost two hours, we found them, in the bottom of one of the first boxes we packed.
now, she loves to hide things and walk around with her arms up and shrug.
little stinker!
