Coronado - February 2012

We decided to take a fun weekend trip tp Coronado to celebrate our dear friend, Mike's, birthday. The boys were able to fit ina day of golf while the girls soaked up the sun. We had two really great warm days and then one chilly day.

It was so much fun sharing our favorite place with our dearest friends. We were able to eat at our favorite restaurants, play on the beach, go to Sea World and let our girls have quality friend time.

Avery and Elle did surprisingly well staying in the same condo. Luckily they were on the same sleep schedule, so it made night time so much easier! I went to bed the same time the girls did! Being prego wears me out! And makes me MOODY! Thank you to Nick and our friends for putting up with my bad mood for one full day! I blame the weather!

We can't wait until April to go back!!

Spaghetti Dinner

Avery's school, CCNS, holds a lot of fun functions for the entire through the year. In January, they held a spaghettin dinner where they had yummy food, face painting and dancing for the kids. It was a lot of fun and I am so happy with our decision to have Avery go to this school. It has a wonderful community/family feel and is so diverse!

(I wish I had the control of what one teacher has! Look at the kids listening to her commands!)

Quick trip to Phoenix

Back in January, I was lucky enough to travel with Nick to Phoenix for a business trip. I was pretty excited to get a little break and to see my niece and nephew. (And Aubrey and Seth!)

We were able to visit for a while at their super cute house and then head to a local zoo. This place was amazing and I wish I could have had Avery with me! It's hard having her cousins live so far away. I always envisioned her growing up pretty close to them.

Thank you Aubrey, Seth, Kennedy and Noah for sharing an afternoon with me! Hopefully we can do it again!!!
