Avery's School Birthday Party

We were able to have a small birthday party for Avery at her school the day before her actual birthday! She was so excited and her daddy even surprised her by showing up for cupcakes! Boy does she love her daddy! She wanted to show him off to all of her school friends!

Avery was able to pick Painting and the Sand Table as her activities for her birthday.

Ave chose to sit next to her Best Buddy Sunshine and Cody (her crush!).

Look at that smile! She looks so proud and happy!

Holt Birthday Party for my Two Favorites

March is a busy month for us! We get to celebrate Avery and Nick's birthdays!!!

We had a party with Nick's dad and Sheri at the country club again this year. Avery was very excited to get all fancied up in her party dress! She loved the fact that we get to celebrate her (and daddy to) all month long!

Showing us her Princess Wave!

What a Turkey! That smile kills me!

Now, The Holt's LOVE to get the naughtiest cards. They are pretty darn funny and bring tears to most people eyes!

Dale's cards always take the cake! He has given Nick a monkey card every birthday for 34 years! And never a repeat!!!

I love you Nicholas! Thank you for all you do and for giving us such a wonderful life!!

Field Trip to City Creek (Canyon not the Mall)

This particular field trip, Avery's teacher took us up City Creek Canyon. I had completely forgotten about this trail and was grateful I was one of the parents asked to drive! You start at Memory Grove and follow a trail (that is dog friendly) that goes to the top of the canyon. It is such an easy trail and very kid and dog friendly!

Ave and I have started going on this hike one to two times a week now! It is very peaceful, shaded and a creek runs along the entire trail. So we spend a lot of time gathering rocks to throw in!

I LOVE this gal!

Us parents were worried that the kiddo's were going to fall in. Teacher Terry didn't seem to worry. She said only four kids fell in last time. Ha! We weren't sure if she was joking. She wasn't!! :)

Climbing was on top of all the kids To-Do list!

Making music out of a hollow log.

The moms and Teacher Terry.

Snack time! Teacher Terry has it down to a...well...T. The kids listen to her and don't momkey around. I WISH I could do that at home!!

VEGAAAAAAAAS

My mom works for Southwest Airlines and is based in Las Vegas. Every year, SWA throws a party for each base. Since she is in Vegas, they always reserve a show. This year was Zumanity. My mom invited me to go and Nick kicked me out of the door really wanted me to go! Sometimes I need a break. Ok, I always do!

We jetted off to Vegas for a quick 26 hour trip. We found an awesome deal at New York New York casino (the show was held there too!) for $60/night! What a steal! We shopped until our feet hurt and then did it again. I actually bought a ton of cute maternity clothes. In Vegas! Utah really doesn't have a whole lot of options surprisingly!

Thanks for a funa nd quick trip mom! And thank you Nick for coordinating for us to go!

Can't wait to go back again!!!

Don't worry, my mocktail was a cranberry juice with club soda. Quite yummy!

Thanks again mom!!

Bowling with The Sievert's!

We LOVE bowling! And we LOVE the Sievert's!

We found a super fun and posh bowling alley in Park City called Jupiter Bowl. If you haven't been there, definitely go pne day! It's a super fun atmosphere and you don't leave feeling like you are a greasy dirty mess!
