in ONE more month you will be ONE! WOWSA!
you have definitely become one little determined girl.
it's your way or no way!
in the last month you:
* quit nursing! COMPLETELY. after you decided you didn't want boobs, you didn't want milk. AT..ALL! this will be a challenge. you are now only on whole milk. you won't drink it alone, i have to sneak it in your food. sigh!
* you have also become a picky eater! no more baby food jars for you. you want the real stuff!
(you will occasionally eat baby applesauce, but that is it.)
* your favorite meals are grilled cheese, grilled cheese with ham and grilled cheese.
(this is about all you will eat at the moment.)
(PS: you get this from your dad. he is the picky eater in the family!)
OH, and you LOVE chocolate! (and bananas & strawberries. these are our fall back items.)
you will lick an egg beater clean that is full of chocolate cake batter like it is no ones business!
* you have shown an allergic reaction to two things so far: peaches and spaghetti oh's. only the gerber graduate brand. chef boyarde seems to works ok still.
you break out into a rash and start pulling your right ear. =-(
* when you are done eating, you throw everything onto the floor for the dogs to eat. they have become quite the beggers due to you missy!
* you love watching Chica on Sprout TV. you waive hello to her and watch her every move!
* your favorite drink is apple juice.
since you have been sick, i am sneaking pedialite in it. you haven't noticed...yet.
* you have walked half way down our hall. by your self.
you love to walk when no one is encouraging you.
if we try to get you to walk, sometimes you arch your back and want to do it yourself.
* your new favorite thing to do is go through mommy's magazines and point to the dogs. you point and say "BAAAH!" it is adorable.
* no matter what time we put you to bed, you usually wake up at the same time. 7:20 AM. sometimes you like to surprise us and wake up at 6:15 AM.
(i think it's because you like to lay in bed with us when it is dark and watch cartoons.)
* you are quite the daredevil.
you have climbed completely onto our bed, the coffee table, the couch...just about everything. your mommy and daddy are not too fond of this!
* you LOVE to sit on Monte's back and watch tv. he is NOT too fond of this either. hee hee.
you are growing up right before our eyes. i cannot believe you are almost one. my baby is now a toddler! pretty soon you will be facing forward in your big girl car seat. we can't wait for that!!!

Haha! She sits on Monte's back and watches TV? That is super funny. What a cutie pie. She is so adorable and growing up way too fast. I can only imagine her excitement when you hand her the egg beater covered in cake batter.
Baby girls, I am so glad you are both feeling better. I can't imagine being sick and having a sick child. Britt I am crossing my fingers that Nick is in the clear that will be the most challenging of all. Love you and miss you!
