easter

we had a GREAT easter!

this time last year, ave was only a couple of weeks old.

so, we stayed home in logan.

our big adventure was taking our new baby

and dogs on a walk at the logan river golf course.

my, oh my how things have changed!

the day before we headed out to the living aquarium in sandy.

it was a crazy mess!

so crowded.

but it is SO SO cool that we have this here in our state.

it was pretty awesome.

the penguine exhibit just opened & we actually got there right at feeding time.

if you haven't seen it yet, you must go!

it's super cheap to get in too!

this year the easter bunny dropped off baskets for all three of us.

(last year, i had depression SUPER bad and couldn't muster up the energy. sad!)

avery got some new shoes that have hard soles...since she's walking.

she also got some new shirts, bubbles and crayons.

(the crayons quickly turned into a snack that stained her mouth blue.)

nick and i received new vans and sperry's. yay!

we met up with nick's mom and sister

at little america for their easter brunch.

deelish!

we all had a food coma afterwards!

instead of napping...

we spring cleaned our home and yard.

how festive!

that night, we met up with nick's dad side of the family

at the salt lake country club.

we had ANOTHER buffet!

FOOD COMA again!!!

avery met the easter bunny and could not stop laughing at it.

she tried to follow him/her throughout the club and was pointing

at it saying daaaaaah.

(which in ave language is dog.)

it was priceless.

we loved spending so much time with our families.

my poor mom had to work, so we could not see her.
