they weren't kidding!
we are constantly on the go..go..go.
we have so much fun running around the house.
speaking of my house...it is ALWAYS a mess!
i can't seem to keep up.
this can make me pretty ornery, but we manage.
i hate a messy house!
but i love seeing avery happy even more!
i can't believe i have taken this long of a blog breather.
a much needed blog breather.
i caught myself getting wrapped up in other bloggers lives
and not paying enough attention to my own.
i suffer...my husband suffers...my child suffers!
so, i have been trying to be much better.
if i have not commented on your blog lately
this is why.
what have we been up to?
well, keeping busy mostly.
our house is officially on the market!
we had our first open house and 30+ people came through.
plus...we have multiple showings every day!

i am constantly cleaning trying to keep the house orderly enough for strangers to gawk at our abode.
i will miss this house.
but it is time for the husband and i to have something we can call "ours".
plus, maybe (and i repeat MAYBE) we will try for another midget next year.
so, we need more space.
a bigger yard.
a bigger kitchen.
yadda yadda yadda!
(not to mention that traveling back and forth between salt lake and logan is getting quite old!)
i went to vegas for a weekend with my mom and sister tia.
we went to celebrate my mom's 28th birthday.
(plus or minus 20 years.)
we stayed at bally's and hung out mostly by the pool in 87 degree weather.
slice of heaven!
the CMA's were being held that same weekend, so it was packed!
we shopped and shopped.
walked up and down the strip.
tried to get into a few shows.
(TOO expensive!)
ate too much.
didn't drink enough.
didn't drink enough.
and came back home.
it was a nice short trip.
AND my first away from my baby girl!
i DID NOT cry.
i needed it!
but i was SO excited to get back home to nick and ave!
it took all day for avery to warm up to me again.
little stinker!

we are adopting out one of our dogs Grace to a nice family here in cache valley.
it breaks my heart!
but two dogs and a baby is really hard!
they don't get the attention they deserve!
wish me luck that i survive.
it hasn't hit me yet.
we have spent countless hours at the park and at the zoo!
i am usually taking avery to hogle zoo twice a week all by my lone some self!
nick is working a butt off, so we try to fill our time doing fun stuff!
we are going to be sporting some nice tans this summer with as much
as avery loves being outside.
she loves playing barefoot, but we are working on keeping her shoes on.
while i was in vegas, nick had a fun daddy/daughter weekend.
he took her to dinner at dodo in salt lake by himself.
(i think he liked the attention of the ladies being impressed that he did this. on a friday night.)
he played at the park for 2 1/2 hours straight. phew!
he learned his lesson on giving avery a hire's strawberry shake at dinner time.
(she was WIRED all night!)
they went out to breakfast twice.
man, she got spoiled!
it was great bonding time for them!

my midget is waking up from her nap, so i gotta run....LITERALLY!
