Disney World

This could potentially be the longest post ever, but I will spare you ALL of the details!

Nick and Dale had a work conference in Orlando the first week of April. We were lucky enough to tag along and hit up DisneyWorld for a few days!

I hadn't been there since high school and forgot how HUGE this place was! We ended up staying at Magic Kingdom for THREE whole days and didn't venture to the other parks. Avery was having so much fun with all of the princesses, characters and rides we didn't want to try anything else.

We stayed at the most incredible hotel. It was modeled after The Hotel Del. (Which is the hotel on Coronado next to our condo's. AND where we got married!) It was beautiful and two amazing pools! We did have one entire pool day, which has prompted us to enter Ave into swim lessons. The kid has no fear and WON'T wear a life jacket or any floatation device for that matter!

Our hotel was across the lake from Magic Kingdom, so every night at 9, we could see the fireworks from our hotel.

The first day, Dale and Sheri went with us. Sheri had not been to a theme park in over 30 years, so it was a BIG deal!!! We were at the park from 9-4 and finally had to head back for some rest!

The next day, we went as our own little family. We actually stayed from morning until after fireworks. (We did go back to the hotel for a quick nap.) For dinner we stumbled upon a restaurant at the castle! You have to have reservations and someone actually hadn't shown up for there's so we were able to take it. We were able to eat with 5 princesses, take pictures and do a wishing ceremony. Completed with saying Bippity Bobbity Boo! It was so neat. This very dinner was our favorite part of the trip. Avery became enamored with the princesses and couldn't get enough of them!

The next day we stayed at the pool!

Our last full day, Nick was in conferences all day, so Ave and I went back to The Magic Kingdom by ourselves. It was so fun. I was worried she would be a hand full, but she was so fun and easy! We had a reception dinner that night and Ave literally danced for 3 hours. Her seet were blistered the next day!

Her favorite rides were: Buzz Lightyear (of course), Pirates of the Carribbean, It's a Small World (she would clap and dance the whole time), Dumbo and OF COURSE the choo choo that circled around the whole Kingdom.

I am so glad we had the opportunity to go on this trip. It was our favorite family trip so far and we are already planning a trip back!!!

She TOTALLY passed out while licking her sucker!
