i honestly cannot believe your FIRST birthday has come and gone!
while i was rocking you to sleep last night, memories upon memories filled my head of our first year together.
the memories made me laugh, they reminded me of how precious each moment together is, how FAST time flies and it also made me tear up.
i had high expectations.
i should have let those go and just enjoyed each moment as they were.
but, we all made it together!
you have sprouted from a precious little "porcelein baby" (as strangers would call you) and into
the most beautiful busy body.
each day is a new challenge.
each day is a new adventure.
each day gets better and better.
you ARE my little buddy, my best friend, my snuggle bear.
you will ALWAYS be my baby!
you may not be a baby anymore...
but nothing will change the fact that
YOU ARE MY BABY!
you have changed SO SO much since your 11 month birthday.
you are still the most picky eater i know!
you are full on walking.
sometimes running!
you are doing different signs with your hands.
we can tell what "more" is.
we can tell when you are "all done".
instead of doing the parade wave, you now open and close your hand like most children do.
you still HATE milk!
you still LOVE grilled cheese and ham.
you are allergic to cherries.
you said BALL the other day.
you LOVE LOVE LOVE bubbles.
you love to go to town on a kleenex box.
KIX cereal is your best friend. you always want some of it and i catch you walking around the house with a fist-full of it!
you can go from sitting to standing to running all on your own!
you only like your baths for ten minutes tops!
you love reading books!
you are a show off at the little gym.
you now weigh 19 pounds 9.5 ounces.
which puts you at 20th percentile.
you are also 30 3/4 inches long!
thios puts you at the 95th percentile!!
you had to get four shots PLUS an anemia blood test.
poor baby girl.
you handled it pretty well.
(except for the three dayd following. they sure made you ornery!)
she wasn' too happy afterwards, but a sucker fixed it real quick!

So fun! The 5-month pic is probably my favorite - she looks like such a little diva!
I love you baby girl! I feel so lucky to live in Logan and be able to visit when I have time. This summer will be so fun, we will be best friends for sure! It has been fun to see you develop each time I see you. You're beautiful, smart and so loving! Thanks for all the kisses, waves, high fives, and cute smiles.
