We have started to have once a week after school playdates. Usually on Wednesday's we have a friend come over to our house, or Avery goes over to their house.
You would think I was crazy since I have a newborn, but this keeps Avery a.) BUSY b.) HAPPY c.) and MAKES HER FEEL IMPORTANT.
Since bringing Liam home, Avery's temperment has changed drastically. She craves attention. Whether it be good attention or bad attention, she doesn't care. She just wants it. Her energy level is through the roof and the loudness of her voice has reach a level where another planet could hear her!
Having her spend time with her classmates has helped a lot!
These pictures are from one playdate with her best friend Sunshine. They spent the morning together at school and then 3-1/2 hours at our house. By hour 3, they were at each others necks. We have now cut playdates to 2 to 2-1/2 hours tops! For her sake and mine!
We just bought some wiggle cars. If you haven't tried them, do! They are so much fun for kids AND adults!
