4th and 24th of July

This was the first year we didn't go to Coronado for the 4th. So instead, we made a day of fun!

We started the 4th off with a neighborhood parade/BBQ. We live in such a great community and have made some awesome friends! We then took Ave to the driving range to hit a bucket of balls. It was a scorching day, so we then grabbed some stuff to BBQ and headed to Dale and Sheri's to swim!! Afterwards, we went to the Bee's game. It was the slowest game ever! I think fireworks started around 11! It was a packed game due to Utah having so many fires and bans on fireworks! The fireworks at the baseball game never disappoint!!!

For the 24th, we pretty much repeated the 4th of July. We headed down to Liberty Park around 10AM and watched the tail end of the Pioneer Day Parade. Avery loved all the beauty queens from each city and of course called the princesses. We then were able to take a nap and then head to Dale and Sheri's to swim away the heat! We ended the night at the Bee's game and fireworks didn't start until 11:15PM! It was a LATE LATE night! My sis was able to hang out with us the entire day! We had a blast!
