We signed Avery up for Tee Ball this Spring. She was assigned to be on the New York Mets. (Not Yankees, but atleast it wasn't Red Sox!!)
Our goal is to have Avery try as many things as possible, so she can decide what she really likes. Since our family is HUGE into baseball, we thought Avery would totally be into this!
Well, we first learned that she hits left handed!! Just like her daddy! She writes right handed, bats left and throws right handed. Pretty Cool!
Tee Ball for the age group of 3-5 year olds is like hearding cats. (So says Nicholas.) The kids LOVE to bat. But once they are in the outfield, it is basically the parents running the game. Literally! I imagined Avery rolling around on the astro turf and she did exactly that! I left exhausted after each game! But it was so fun and Ave had three of her friends from school on the team!
We'll try again next year!!
The games were held twice a week at the Field House at the U of U. Go Utes!!
Typical Outfielder Avery! Crawling or rolling on the astro turf!
Her adorable team!
Love this gal!
Great season Mets!
